Stop Thinking Like a Consumer
You've been trained your whole life to be a consumer. You've gotten really good at it. You've mastered the art of consuming.

Lessons from the Bucket
When I was a kid my dad and I would sit in the barn on buckets. We would hold long conversations on everything you can image. My dad was very patient. He would drop an idea about a subject over and over again without ever explaining.
He knew for me to succeed I had to fail. He was giving me a safety net for those times I fail without telling me why. Each time I failed I would recall something from those #buckettalks.
Eventually the lessons become clear. He was mentoring me without me knowing it. One day those lessons would become my guide.
"Everything is for sale!"
That was the answer to a bunch of things that didn't make any sense at the time. They do today!
When you realize that the sale is the key to success rather than money everything changes.
I sold insurance for several years. I was getting burned out. I started looking for some motivation. Then I remembered my dad's words, "Everything is for sale" So I tracked my sales to people's claims.
The lights came on.
I realized the value that I provided in benefits paid out far exceeded the money I was being paid. Everything is for sale! If I wanted more people to benefit I needed to sell more.
I wasn't selling insurance premiums. I was selling insurance benefits. The more I sold the more people benefited.
That mind shift is important to you and to the people you serve.
